Overview

Candyland Adventure is a fully offline, choice-driven story game. This page explains, in plain language, what the app touches on your device — and just as importantly, what it never collects, stores remotely, or shares. The app has no backend server, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and makes no network requests of any kind.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Nothing you do inside the app is ever sent to us or to any third party, because the app never connects to the internet.

• Camera / Photo Library — used only if you choose to take or pick a photo for your Explorer Profile portrait. The photo is stored only in the app's local storage on your device and is never uploaded anywhere. This permission is off by default and only requested when you turn it on.
• Notifications — if you enable them in Settings, the app schedules gentle, on-device reminders to continue your adventure. These are scheduled entirely on your device; no push notification server or remote service is involved.
• Gameplay data — your journal entries, achievements, statistics, trait progress, and explorer profile are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device.

How Your Information Is Used

Any data described above is used solely to run the game on your own device — for example, remembering your story progress, displaying your explorer portrait, or reminding you to continue your journey. None of it is used for advertising or profiling, and none of it is shared with third parties, because none of it ever leaves your device.

Data Retention & Deletion

All game data lives only in local storage on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can permanently erase everything at any time by opening Settings and choosing "Reset Progress," or simply by deleting the app, which removes all of its local data along with it.

Children's Privacy

Candyland Adventure does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because the app collects no personal information from any user at all. The story and content are family-friendly and suitable for a general audience.

Third-Party Services

Candyland Adventure does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services. No software component in this app transmits data off of your device.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is ever updated, the revised version will be published at this same page with an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
